One of my favorite comics growing up was New Mutants. Recently I've been re-reading old issues. This is my version of Boom Boom, the character that could make time bombs as her mutant power. I decided that she really was an eighties girl and gave her some fashion bits that I remember from the eighties. Since this illustration is based on an old character I though it would be fun to give it that old comics look with large screen halftone coloring. Click the image for the full version.
