I was inspired by the Art and Story Podcast, "Your Comic from the Ground Up" series this week. Jerzy Drozd and Mark Rudolph have been talking about making comics and I decided to try out my very own style test. This series of images (sketch, inks, and colors) were done to test out some ideas I had for the environment of a story I have been thinking on for a long time. I threw in a couple of the characters to make it more interesting for me. Now I'm considering how long this process, from sketch to finish, took me and if I should do things differently.Check out the Art and Story podcasts on their website ArtandStoryPodcast.com. They are particularly fun and thoughtful especially if you are interested in creating art and telling stories.
